A Growing Parish Family

At the heart of our parish is a strong and faith-filled community of 200+ families, united in worship, service, and Christian living. To nurture meaningful relationships and provide effective pastoral accompaniment, the parish is divided into 7 Family Units. These neighborhood communities create opportunities for families to gather in prayer, support one another in times of need, participate in charitable initiatives, and grow together in faith. By strengthening these bonds, our parish continues to build a welcoming community where every family is valued and encouraged to share in the mission of the Church.

Unity Through Service & Organizations

The heartbeat of our parish is its active organizations and ministries. From the altar servers and choir to the K.C.Y.M, S.F.O, Catechism wing, children ministry junior CLC, Mathruvedi, and Vincent de Paul Society, each group contributes uniquely to parish life. Through retreats, charity drives, youth programs, educational support, and social outreach, our organizations work hand-in-hand to maintain excellent unity and cooperation. Every festival, feast, and parish event becomes a true celebration of togetherness.

St. Ephrem's Church, Poyya is a vibrant, faith-filled parish community under the Diocese of Irinjalakuda. With deep roots in the Syro-Malabar tradition, our parish continues to grow as a modern, up-to-date community while preserving the rich spiritual heritage passed down through generations.

We are blessed with approximately 200 families who together form the living body of Christ in Poyya. To strengthen pastoral care and fellowship, our parish is thoughtfully organized into 7 Family Units. Each unit serves as a mini-parish, fostering prayer meetings, home visits, charity works, and mutual support. This structure ensures that no family walks alone, and every member experiences the warmth of belonging.
